From field to table: visit a working farm and breakfast on what grows there.
We walk the fields with Germán, who chose to bring his family’s land back into use after ten years without farming. Today he works it again. Little by little, he is reviving a trade he learned from his grandfather, and finding his own way to keep the Catalan farming tradition alive in a modern setting.
We stroll through the vegetable garden to see what grows in each season and how the land is worked. As we go, Germán talks us through the seasonal crops and shares the story of the farm.
Afterwards, we head into the masia, the traditional Catalan farmhouse. There we taste produce from the garden and sit down to a breakfast of local products, coffee and coca from Perafita. It’s the perfect place to carry on the conversation and enjoy the calm of the countryside.

HOW THE EXPERIENCE UNFOLDS
We set off together from Barcelona
We meet at the agreed meeting point in Barcelona and travel together to the farm. On arrival, Germán welcomes us before we head out into the fields.
We walk the fields with Germán
For about 45 minutes, Germán shows us the seasonal crops, how the land is worked and the story of his family's farm. Before we finish, he shows us exactly where to cut, and everyone harvests their own artichoke.
Breakfast around the table
We head into the masia and gather around the table for a country breakfast: handmade seasonal spreads and artichoke cream, artisan charcuterie, fresh produce from the garden, artichoke bread, coffee and coca from Perafita. Time to slow down, keep chatting and take in the surroundings.
